Transfer of avi or qt files
I have a need to transfer captured raw footage from a PC to a Mac and vice vera. I bought an external USB drive but quickly discovered that formatting was an issue to allow both PC and Mac to use it for files larger than 4GB. Is it possible to transfer through a network configuration?

You can transfer over a network, but in most cases, a MAc will have problems with footage captured on a PC and vice versa. You will have to make some conversions back and forth.
