  AVI file import problem

  Hi!
  I’m talking about AVI uncompressed files with alpha channel. These files were made on PC. Now I’m going to move from PC to Mac. So, when I try to import these files Premiere CS3 MAC version tells “Codec missing or unavailable”. But FinalCut has no problems with them!
  Any idea?!

  There are a couple of ways to export to uncompressed from Premiere.

  Did you use the uncompressed MS AVI, or did you choose AVI and then choose compression:none in the tab below?

  The second option should work on both CS3 and FCP, the first option is very specific to Adobe and may or may not work on CS3 mac.

  The best option would be to export as QT animation 100% for both FCP and CS3.

  These files were exported from PC After Effects 6.5 (Video for Widows, Compression: No Compression, RGB+Alpha)
  Bad that there is no cure:( I have hundreds of them….
