  Premiere pro and HDV Problem

  i am working with premiere pro 2 2 years ago , when capturing i used a canon mvx 150 i dv cam but now i bought the sony hdr-hc5e HDV 1080i but it won t work with PP2 , i can only control the camera capture sound but not video , anybody knows why ?
  i tried to chage the capture settings from capture windows but it won’t works . there are three type DV , HD , HDV , i tried all .

  any help please , thank you

  Did you set the capture to Sony / Standard ?

  Are you refering to that you can’t see video in the capture window? If so this is normal just a legend that says you are capturing appears in a black window.

  Make sure “Down convert to DV” is turned off in the camera.
