    Hello,

I have an S-video port at the back of my computer which I have hooked up to a small tv. I’d like to preview my footage from Premiere Pro 2 in the external tv monitor. I’m able to preview it in my cam but, not on the tv monitor. There’s no way of hooking up the cam to the tv…any idea how I can preview via external tv?

    Thanks for reading

Connect the analog output of your camera to the TV.

    Good luck

By analog what do you exactly mean? The back of the tv only has a white tv plug and yellow audio plug..

Your camera has a digital (fire wire) in/output to connect the camera with the PC for capturing and putting back the movie on tape.
There is also an analog output to connect your camera to a TV set to show the movie on TV. This is a cable with yellow (video) and red and white (stereo audio) plugs. If your TV has only yellow (video) and white, there is no stereo sound. You can connect red and white to an separate amplifier to monitor stereo sound.

During editing the the result will be sent by the PC via fire wire to the camera when you play the timeline.
The camera send the picture and sound to the TV set via the analog output of the camera.

I hope it is clear for you now
