Premiere Pro CS3 and Encore
Hi guys,
We’re getting so much conflicting information I thought I would ask you guys. I need to deliver a Blu-Ray DVD so I am trying to get a copy of Encore. We edit in Final Cut Pro and Compress using Compressor 3.
According to Adobe’s literature on the website, if I purchase PPro CS3, Adobe Encore is included. My VAR called Adobe to place the order for me and was informed this is NOT a full version of Encore that is included. It is elements of Encore and it will ONLY work with Premiere. It will not work with an outside app like Compressor.
In order to purchase the full version of Encore, I have to purchase the full Production Premium package. Now Anarav just responded to my Blog entry that this truly IS the full version of Encore with PPro CS3.
Anyone know for sure whether or not the Encore included with Premiere Pro CS3 is indeed the full version or not? Thanks!

Aanarav is correct. It is a full version. Unfortunately for Adobe users, it is still necessary to export from Premiere Pro to use the file in Encore. Therefore the file can come from anywhere. Make sense?
