  • Echo effect – too fast

I have applied the echo effect to a precomp of a moving square to get a moving dotted line. Everything looks great, except it’s moving twice as fast as I waould like it to. What would be the easiest way to slow the effect down without changing the motion of the square? Hopefully this is clear- the square gets from point A to point B at the right speed, but the echos move too fast.
    Thanks!

The echos move at the same speed as your footage – it’s an exact duplicate pushed forward or backewards in time.

The best way to make it last longer is to

    A) increase the number of echos will add more echos to the trail
    B) chnage the Echo time default setting of .033 seconds in the past to a slightly higher value
