  out of synch audio

  I’m taking linked video/audio clips and putting them into the timeline, then cropping them down. I find when I do this, the audio and video get out of synch by about 1/2 a second, even though I never unlink the 2 tracks. Any ideas as to why this is happening and how I can prevent? Thanks.

  This often happens with formats not supported by Premiere. What is the codec used for this clip ?
