  re: encode to Mpeg-2 prem pro 1.5

  Hi

  I need to encode my finished films with the prem pro encoder so that I have control over the bitrate etc (i have had probs with bitrates in encore 1.5) When I try to do this first it goes online and then the option to selesct ok is greyed out so I cannot select it.
  Please help, have clients waiting.

  The Mpeg encoder needs to be activated on line. There should be a small window requiring your attention…check in the task bar for that window with instructions.

  Hi Mike,

  Tried to do this with a pc that is connected to the internet, and its still not allowing me to ok when i select MPEG-2 option. Doesn’t matter which VBR or CBR setting i choose, the ok button is still greyed out and there is nothing on the taskbar appearing. Any ideas?

  Some more info…..
  Oddly I have tried to encode on my other Mac running windows, which is not connected to the internet and the problem is solved…

  Rather than transfer all my data to build my DVD on the other computer how do you think I may fix this problem? Re-installing perhaps?

  Both machines are running the same copy of prem pro 1.5 and encore 1.5.
