As a favour, I’m going to color-correct a short for a friend. The short was cut in Premiere Pro, and I’m using Final Cut Pro. I’d like to work on a series of separate clips in an FCP sequence, so I can create separate CC settings but cut & paste those settings as well.

What should my friend do in Premiere to give me separate clips with as little degradation as possible? Is there an automatic way to export a timeline as clips with handles?

It was shot on Mini DV.
I’d prefer Quicktime or DV stream.
He’d prefer not to drag deck, tapes and EDL to my shop.

    Thanks,
    Steve
