  Power Point Verticals are Warping/Curling

  I am doing SD video projects with dv video and importing power point graphics into PP7.0.
  It seems if I go to tight to the edge of my tv cut off I get a curling on the top of the vertical slide that is layered on a back ground.Doing these videos I always run into vertical slides. Is there a better way to do vertical images importing into pp7.0 and not having warping problems? Note: Does not show up
  on the video edit screen, only on a tv monitor.Any input would be great!

  using Powerpoints can be problematic, given the abundance of thin lines, aliased text and general overstuffed slides which do not look good on video.
  The problem you refer to sound familiar – try changing the scale so it is within the safe action area.

  I tend to open every powerpoint slide in Photoshop and tweak it before importing into Premiere.

  You can also tweak the Powerpoint file itself before exporting BMP images – adjust font sizes and colors and layout to stay within the safe area.

  keep content away from the screen edges and see if you still have this problem.

  If you export an AVI, how does that look?
