I’m new to the Adobe Video Bundle and an wondering what is the best output for rendering footage that I would like to import into DVD Encore? Any settings would also be most appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Joan

    Joan,

If you are just starting out, the most simple method is to export your edited timeline as an AVI file and import that into Encore DVD.

    1. File > Export > Export to Movie (Premiere Pro)
    2. Import AVI file into Encore DVD.

    Aanarav,

I tried to export out an avi file but that was going to take about 48 hours on my one year old system. So, I tried a couple of other choices and went with mpeg2-generic and was able to render out about 1 hours worth of footage in about 2 hours. The footage isn’t the best quality, so I’ll have to do another sample runn with better quality footage and compare the quality.

    Thanks for the advice,
    Joan

    Joan,

What were your export settings. Usually an AVI export is almost realtime on my system and that is with a few filters.
