  masking videos

  Hello,

  I have to sets of footage, basically all i want to do is mask “footage 1” so that some of footage two appears. Basically i tried creating my own mask which is a solid green image (in the shape i want) and tried the green screen key, but it wont work.

  Am i doing this correct? is there a better way?

  In Premiere lingo it is called matte. Either try one of the garbage mattes or a track matte. I have a video tut for the latter on my web.
