  Open AVI in PP 2

  Hello

  I am trying to import AVI files into pp 2.0 and all I get is the video, no audio. I have installed ffdshow codec and used GSpot to determine if I have the correct codec. GSpot reports the video codec is xvid (xvid codec is installed) and audio codec is mpeg-1 layer 3, GSpot failed to render the audio. Can you suggest which codec(s) I should be using or how to resolve my issue.

  Use MS-DV AVI type 2 or use another application. PP does not like DivX, XVid, and the like which are not suitable for editing.
