  Help: Premiere Pro to Decklink to Betacam SP Deck

  I’ve worked with the above for years but never had to buy a Betacam Deck and only once did connections, I remember a headache for days getting the Decklink to work with the Betacam Decks. I would be ever-so gratefull if you guys could give me some advice and a good deck to buy. I don’t have the budget for a $15,000 deck. But definitely need the highest quality going to tape. I’ve seen some bad bad exports to Beta tape from Final Cut.
  If the Decklink is a bad idea, I’m up for checking out better capture cards, (the card needs to go to my monitor as well).

  Specs:
  XP pro p2
  Premiere 1.5
  Decklink?? *(2 PCI slots and 1 PCI x1 (yeah no room for HD capture since Nvidia Quadro is taking up the PCI x16 slot)
  Panasonic BT-LH1700W (17-Inch Widescreen HD/SD LCD Video Monitor with Built-In SDI)
  Betacam SP deck? (may have to buy used, which models should I look for? And important info to get before purchase?)
