I’ve made some DVE movies with Adobe PP 1.5 in Mpeg1, and some won’t play on some DVD players. Why?

Mpeg 1 video files burned to a DVD disc wont play on many/most DVD players…it is not DVD specs. Many players will play non-spec files such as Jpeg, .wmv, .wma, mp3 and others but this will vary by player.

    Thanks again Mike:

I’m not sure if my videos have those files and would hope that Adobe PP 1.5 would fix this problem.

Will it help to get Adobe PP 2.0 and use mpeg 2?

2.0 is the first version that includes DVD authoring. Both 1.5 and 2.0 can create mpeg 2 files, but 1.5 will require an authoring app like Encore to create the special files that make a video DVD.
