I have some footage that will only go to audio tracks 4 and 5 on the timeline and I want to change it to track 1 or 2 and 3, I have tried to unlink them them from my video , but it still won’t let me move my audio tracks. Any suggestions??

PPro has both stereo and mono audio tracks. Sounds like you are trying to put a stereo source on a mono track – or visa versa. Deleting unused tracks combined with creating new ones of the appropriate type may allow you to get the tracks arranged in the order you prefer. Hard to be more specific without having more details from you.

Probably you have stereo tracks in your project and you want to put mono tracks in the time ;ine as well. Does not matter since the output will still be as you set up your project. I would not worry about it, continue editing and export.

Thanks guys, My timeline is in mono and my footage is in stereo. I am goin to delete a couple of tracks, but I am starting to see that I don’t even need to do that, but I like it to be a lot more organized. Thanks
