I just created a file that is 13.7 GB. I saved it and then closed out to start do something else. Now when I click to open the file, it attempts to open but then within less than a second of being up, the whole Premiere Pro program shuts down. Does anyone know why it is doing this? How to solve the problem? Do I need more space on my hard drive? Thanks!

Likely conflicting with another newly installed software. I would try a system restore.

What are the properties of this 13 GB file?
Did you export it from Premiere?

I just purchased Production Studio yesterday and when i try and load Premiere it shuts down halfway and restarts my computer. All other applications run fine. Does anybody had (or heard of) the same problem and know of a solution. I run on XP and have over 140 GB of HD space left.
    Any help would be appreciated,

    Stephan.

Go to Control panel > Administrative Tools > Event viewer > Look for any error involving Premiere Pro and tell me what it says when you double click on it.

Someone emailed me and said to try a system restore. I haven’t done it yet but he said that it might work.
