I just bought a GeForce 7600 GS, its a wonderful card, but its giving me issues.

Whenever I start up Premiere, it doesnt finish it shuts down my computer and restarts it automatically. I have no Idea why, I am running it on one monitor. But the problem supposedly is that when I restart back up it gives a message about the drivers being outdated or something But I already updated and even tried older versions of the drivers. Nothing works please help…
    I have 2GB of ram and a 3Ghz processor

    PS.
It does the samething with Encore and Audition, But After Effects works fine.

    THANKS SINCERELY

If you boot into Safe Mode, Windows will load generic VGA drivers. If you can load Premiere, the drivers might be an issue, if not, you may have a problem with the card or its compatibility with other components like the mothboard or sound card.

Was your old video card a non nvidia card? or a much older nvidia one? you may
need to unload the old drivers before installing the new drivers.
