Can anyone tell me what’s going on in Premiere 1.5 with my computer stalling when trying to make ANY edits on the timeline. I’ve used Premiere for years and have not had this problem before. Do I have my settings incorrect or what’s going on?? It usually happens when scrubbing the video or audio on the timeline or by adding music tracks and playing the timeline. It appears to only stall out when music or an audio track is involved. Staight video edits don’t appear to stall the program. My destop PC has an Intel 4 dual processing chip (3.0 mhz) and 1 Gig of RAM. No hardware udates recently other than a 7 port USB hub (I have 9 hard drives connected to this computer). Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

    1. Does this happen with EVERY project?
    2. Do you have any media located on external hard-drives? Try moving the assets into the local drive and see if it still freezes.
    3. Uninstall and re-install the application.
