    Hi,
My computer specs are as follows:

    AMD Athlon 64 2800+
    512MB RAM 400FSB
    80GB SATA HDD

I have been using PPRO 1.5 for quite a long time and satisfactorily. Recently, I had to format my computer and reinstalled PPRO 1.5 again. After that whenever I try to export the edited video to Adobe Media Encoder and opt for VCD High Quality Encoding , it gives me asn error massege after 3-4% [of a 65min video] rendering is completed.
The error massege is as follows:

“Failed to Return the Video Frame, cancelling the process”

I encoded the same video within PPRO using Main Concept MPEG encoder 1.06, and it was rendered perfectly, though time taken was about 6hrs, which is abnormal for a 65min video encoded to VCD. Though I do not prefer to use 3rd party encoders.

I have reqired update KB886716 installed. And I have updated the integrated encoder PPRO to 1.1 according to Adobe FAQ.

None of these problems were there with my previous installation.

So could someone lease help me? And need that desparately.

    Thank you.

    No!

I am just trying to convert the edited clips to MPEG1 video [high quality VCD option]. I tried to convert tit to a movie, but after rendering 25 frames out of around 65,000 frames, it is simply stopping.

One information that I need to inform you that I have used the ‘Auto Contrast’ filter applied to the all clips.

Have you updated 1.5 to 1.51?

    Thank you,
but are you pointing to the upgradation of the integrated adobe media encoder or the whole Adobe Premiere Pro?
If you are pointing to Adobe PPRO as a whole, then I did not.
I shall highly appreciate if you could point me to the link from where I can download and install this update..

    Thank you again :).

Thank you very much Mike :).
I have downloaded and applied the update. But I think it is a support for HD cameras- can it be the cause of this problem? 😕

Still I’ll check out and submit the result here.

    Thank you.

List of features of an update dont usually list the bug fixes.

Thank ypou very much Mike for taking time to respond to me. I am presently working on my Home Video and I’ll be back with the results ASAP.

BTW, do you think that my computer will support PPRO 2? I mean is there any financial/feature related logic if I go for an upgrade.

You are an Expert so I shall be grateful to you for your kind advices.

    Thank you again.

    Hello Mike,

Unfortunately, this time also PPRo could not render completely, it gave the error massege as before.

One peculiar observation: As I deleted all the contents of my temp folder using program like CleanUp!4.52, then it rendered rest 35mins without hitch and only in 6 mins flat. For the first portion it took around 3.5hrs.

Help me to resolve this issue please. 🙁

    Hello Mike,

Sorry I wrongly pointed out the time for the 2nd time of rendering. Basically the rendering did not take place at all because of my mistake. Generally the rendering takes around3.5-4hrs for 1hr video encoded in High Quality VCD.

But the observation regading the TEMP folder cleaning still holds true. I have seen in previous occassions also that I need to clear the temp folder to have around 35-40% rendering possible.

So could you please give me a solution?

    Thank you.
