Hi, This is my first post, you have very interesting forum here, I’m learning a lot.

How do I make the top quarter of the screen a lil more darker (in photography I usually add a special filter to the lenses), can I create that ilusion in APP 2.0?

    Thanks,
    Leomanya.

PS- I hope I’m posting in the right section.

You can create a black section of a title, using a blur to get a feathered edge. But if I were you, I would create the gradient in Photoshop to do the job. Reduce the opacity to suit your taste.

or copy the clip to a higher track – adjust the levels of the new clip – crop out the part you do not like, and use a blurred track matte to transition between the two, using the opacity controls on the upper clip also.

@steven: the gradient did the trick very well. Looks nice.

@mike : I’ll try the matte now, I haven’t used that feature enough yet, it has a lot of potential.

(I’m sorry, I’m just too excited, I’m loving this prog.)

    Thanks for your help.

    Leomanya.
