    Hi,

My Ppro 2 was working fine until one particular sequence 16:9 becomes 4:3 on exporting via Media Encoder or AVI as a movie.

And strangely when exporting via Media Encoder, my Encore 1.5 wont accept the .m2v file…very strange…

I have uninstalled and installed all the programs…

any ideas why these problem has strangely surfaced?

check your project setting. If you import 16:9 to a 4:3 project, the 16:9 clip would be converted.

Have you tried trashing your preferences ?

And another stab in the dark… have you recently installed on of those codec packs ?

    Cheers,

    Vince

    Solved the problem…

Actually mt 29inch TV is 4:3, so I had to adjust the dvd setting to watch it in 16:9 mode…

    It was becoming anamorphic

Then I exported the avi out of the 16:9 project and imported it in a new 4:3 project and scaled it…works great.

Now I can view 16:9 in 4:3 Tv by default.
