• Adobe Premiere Pro

  Premiere Pro 2.0 and Decklink

  I searched but couldn’t find anything here or Blackmagic for this. Today I upgraded to Adobe Video Suite Professional so I now have the latest of everything. My Decklink SP still works with Premiere Pro 1.5 (I presume I’m supposed to uninstall the old verions since Adobe doesn’t seem to install over old) but I can’t get Premiere Pro 2.0 to recognize the Decklink.

  Any ideas?

  temporarily rename your PPro 1.5 program folder to something obscure and reinstall the DL drivers. Then it should correctly instal everything for PPro 2. After that restore Ppro 1.5 folder name and everything is back to normal.

  That would have been my second choice. I figured I would find an answer specific to Premiere Pro in the Premiere Pro Forum much faster than in the Blackmagic Forum.
