  • Maintianing Original File Timecodes For EDL When Doing Multi-cam

This is probably a question for Aanarav – I am working in the multi-cam mode but I lose the original timecode for each clip once the final multi-cam is completed. I want to do a rough-cut multicam and then send it to my online editor for final tweaking, but without a good EDL with original timecodes, I can’t do this. How do I do a multi-cam edit while maintaining the original timecode for each clip in the final multi-cam sequence so I can export out an EDL that can be used?

    Thanks so much.
