  This is either as simple as using the razor tool, or I’m not getting your question 😉

  either capture parts of the tape separately, or cut out the pieces you don’t want on your sequence.
  If you do not have the 13 gigs available on your hard drive for the file, then you are in need of a bigger hard drive.
