  Audio waveform no longer showing on timeline

  Using Premiere Pro 1.5 (XP2 SP2 and Canopus Storm 2), I’ve just realised that with the Display Style on any audio track set to show waveform, this does not show up.

  Any suggestions?

  Is the audio too low? What happens when you import another file? Does the waveform appear?

  Sound is well modulated, almost to the point of distortion (!), so I don’t think that is the issue.

  I recently upgraded to Service Pack 2 (as support for 1 shortly to be discontinued by Microsoft) and wonder whether this may have a bearing?
