Mixing audio from two video sources
I am editing a video from a school play where I have two video sources from opposite sides of the room. When I use the two videos, occasionally the sound clips during loud scenes, songs, or applause. I tried manually adjusted the audio level several times to avoid the clipping and I’ve ended up around -3.97dB. I think there should be a mathematical means to arrive at an actual value rather than guessing but it is escaping me right now. What is the best way to mix audio of two different shots of the same sceen? Manually adjusting the audio level, or is there a builtin audio effect?
