  crash record questions….

  We typically have a client review our work on a videotape for approval beofre making a final DVD

  Normally we to record from our timeline direct to a DV deck using firewire.

  I know in Premier 1.5 it worked fine…but now I with 2.0 loaded, I may have messed up a settng.

  We see the vidio on the program monitor through the recording deck, but have no audio coming from the firewire.

  Am I missing a step in the set up?.

  I can hear the audio from the sound card, but cannot record the audio right to the dv deck only the video.

  Hope this makes sense.

  Check your Playback settings.I remember that there is an option to enable this.
  Project settings->General->Playback Settings-> checkmark external device audio
