  Export to Quicktime not working

  I have successfully created a DV AVI file and a windows media player file, but I cannot get Quicktime to work. I’m using Premiere Pro 2.0 and Quicktime 6.5.2. At the end of the encoding, I get an “API Error”. I tried Sorenson squeeze and that has another error that is already be researched by tech support. I then upgraded my quicktime to 7.1. In this case, I don’t get the error in Premiere Pro but the file is 2 bytes. So there is a difference between QT 6.5 & 7.1, but neither work.

  I’d like to know if this is working for other people, and if so which version of quicktime are you using? And of course if anyone else has seen this problem, let me know. I’ve been searching google and I don’t find anything about it so I have no idea.

  PS: I’ve tried different codecs and different AVI clips but always get the same result.

  What is the other error you get while exporting to QT with 7.1 installed? If you are getting errors with Sorenson squeeze and premiere pro, then something else is wrong.

  I just uninstalled QT after trying 7.1 and 6.5.2. now I try 7.0.4 and I don’t get an error but I end up with a 2k video that is corrupt. I have no idea what’s wrong.
