  Sharp/Crisp Logo for DVD

  Hi all,
  i tried a few things and just can’t get a logo nice after rendering out to dvd format. My pipeline is entirely hdv.
  I got the client logo as .eps and .ai format.
  When i render out the edges just don’t look good. I already aplied a gaussian blur, some soft shadow and lowered the kontrast. These settings work fine for regular text, but somehow not for the logo.

  Anyone any hints or ideas.

  With the text stuff i followed this article:

  But it’s not working for the logo. it gets too blurry or the edges look strange.

  BTW, the logo is black font with a azurish bow.

  Does the Alpha channel have sharp edges, or are there semi-transparent areas?

  Hi Steven,
  yeah it seems the files have no seperate alpha channel at all. This happens , when you get the logos from a print person and have no Illustrator yourself.
  I opened them in Photoshop, added my alpha channel and now it seems to work fine.
