I have a long sequence where i need a 2second clip to last 4seconds . Instead of cutting out the clip and lengthing it in another sequence, is there a way to do this in the original sequence, that is, length it 2 extra seconds without the hassle of cuting, copying, moving etc (maybe with slide tool or some other tool)
    thanks!

Drag the tail or the head of the clip out as long as you want.

The ripple edit tool will allow you to extend the out point of your clip and push (ripple) the following clips in all tracks down the timeline.
