  Exporting to tape issue on Pro 1.5 to Sony DCR-PC1

  I had to export to mini Dv and had to use a Sony DCR-PC1 connected via firewire. It is actually what was used to batch in the footage. The tape was striped so I set the export to tape dialogue box to assemble at 10;00 timecode and I give it 150 frames preroll. It seems to catch right at the in point. The issue is that it goes through the bars and black and the program does not start at the top of the minute. (1;00;00) but rather at a random point… Any suggestions would be great I have been out of editing since this hotwire stuff came out and I am trying to get up to speed.

  Also anyone got a recommendation on a good workhorse camera that will function as a deck with programable timecode at a decent price? Just trying to think beyond the obvious.
