  (ae7) “bending” 3d layer effect?

  Hi all, I was wondering how I’d go about “bending” a 3d layer around a point so as to make the layer “cylindrical”. Like this pic: https://www.trapcode.com/images/bend_sm.gif – this is from trapcode’s 3d stroke, but I’d like to achieve a similar effect with a filled text layer. It seems like this should be possible, but who knows. Any ideas?
