Activity Forums Adobe Premiere Pro DV Date

Hi, I downloaded the trial for this programme to get timecode in Premiere Pro 1.5. It works great except for the fact that I have to render my sequence after I put the effect on a clip. For 1 hour long sequences this can be quite a problem…

Has anyone got DV Date to run real time, or is there another programme that can do it.

All I want is timecode that matches the timecode of my sequence, not my original tape.

    Thanks

The only way, at this time, to add a label like a date or timecode is to eventually have to render. It is just a fact of life. But a small label should not stop a fast PC from previewing without rendering.

I have used the small AVI of timecode as an overlay on the top track of the sequence. It needs to render, but does play back pseudo realtime – i make my windows dubs to DVD so it is going to render to mp2 anyway.
