Is there a way to change the gamma values of a monitor?
We are using an LCD TV as an external monitor to the camera. And when we transfer the footage to PC, PC LCD monitor obviously shows the image darker than what we have shot. Secondly Premiere Overlay Screeen shows the image even darker.(Premiere rendered output I guess has same brightness with PC Monitor)Somebody replied different monitors have different gamma values, this is the reason.
What I want to do is to adjust the PC monitor + Premiere editing environment in such a way that the brightness will be same as what I see on camera`s lcd and on external monitor(without changing the brightness of the video files, because final output will be back to TV or camera). Is there a way to do this? (I do not mean changing the gamma values of videos on Premiere timeline, I know how to do that, but the Pemiere Overlay Window + also the PC monitor in general during editing duration)
Briefly, how can view my captured video files` brightness in the computer very close to my shooting conditions and environment.
