  ADOBE PREMIERE PRO NEW REFERENCE MOITOR

  IF I OPEN THE NEW REFERENCE MONITOR, SHOULD I BE ABLE TO PLAY THE TIMELINE. AND VIEW IT IN, THE (NEW REFERENCE MONITOR) AS A MOVIE.

  Having the normal monitor AND a reference monitor open slows playback considerably on most systems.

  WITH THE REFERENCE MONITOR OPEN, I PLAY THE TIMELINE, THE REFERENCE MONITOR STAYS ON THE FIRST CLIP THEN WHEN I STOP THE TIMELINE THE REFERENCE MONITOR JUMPS TO THE LAST CLIP, WITH NO MOVEMENT IN BEETWEEN IS THIS CORRECT OR SHOULD THE MOVIE PLAY ALL THROUGH

  Hi,

  When you open the new refrence montior, you also have to “Gang to Program Monitor”. This is under the triangle on the upper right of the reference monitor. It should work for you now. Typically, you would use one monitor (the program for example) to watch the video and the ref mon would be to view scopes. Or vice versa.
