  Outputing a movie with just still images – Bad resolution?

  Hi Guys,

  I know this might sound like a newbie question but I’m gonna have to ask it on behalf of all stupid noobs like me out there…

  I’m making a quick 30 second looping movie for a dvd presentation on a wide screen TV with still images (all PSD files at a larger size than they should be and at 72 DPI) and when I output this to a movie the resolution is crappy! In the viewer its looking sexy, and I’ve tripled checked the PSD files, I’m just wondering if it could be…
  1) something about codecs – coz I’ve just bought premier, am I missing codecs?
  2) Is it because of my hardware its not outputing right? Im on a schmick lappy.
  3) Is it because I’m a bit slow in the head?
  4) I read somewhere that inputing PSD files into premier and outputing them using a DVcodec is a bit saucy?

  I used work with final cut in a tv agency with an IO card and Im kinda speculating it could be question number 2?

  Are you altering the flicker options of Premiere Pro?
