  Premier Pro With Nvidia Quadro FX 540 HD preview

  Hello;
  Is anyone running with the Nvidia Quadro FX 540. I was wondering if it’s a true dual head display with the output to the HD monitor, or if one has to set the second monitor to full screen video, making it unusable for toolbars. ect.

  The answers are “yes” and “yes”…it’s a true dual-head display, so you need to dedicate one “head” to the HDTV output.

  The only triple head card I’m familiar with is the Parhelia from Matrox with the ability to drive three display surfaces.

  Thanks Tim;

  I will have to add another card to drive a second monitor to edit on two screens and use the second monitor of the FX540 as an out to my reference monitor… good to know BEFORE one buys!.. thanks…
