I’m at my wits end trying to figure out how to export a finished product in Premiere to a DVD. Ive tried the ‘Export to DVD’ function. but it takes a unnaturally long time to work (12+ hours to get barely halfway). So ive tried using th adobe media encoder to make an mpeg2 out of it. This worked, but when i burned it to a DVD, the dvd player can’t see it. I used NTI dvd maker, with the video disk TS option, and no go. Please, is there any way to do this properly? I need to get this out soon, and nothing seems to be working!

    Thanks in advance!

You don’t give much specifics on your project.
How long is it ? what format? on which type of machine are you working?
Do you have software running in the background? Which OS? Which version of Premiere?

With more detail, there might be some issues that can be solved.

Export to DVD is pretty fast on my machine, but keep in mind that transcode times vary greatly with the complexity and length of the project

Its about an hour and a half long, premiere pro 7, not apps running, win xp. I think i have the problems solved though- i was encoding it as mpeg2, instead of mpeg2-dvd. As i type, it is exporting, and ill try to put it onto a DVD tonight. If this doesn’t work- expect to see me back on the board very soon.

    Thanks for your help!
