  Batch capture failed

  When I did a batch capture the log messages said, “Capture Failed: Video record error”
  And i didn’t get their icons becoming the first frame of thier associated files either, instead I got a big red button with a cross through it.
  But each capture has the amount in time each capture has,(e.g. 00.01.36.21) telling me it must have captured it somewhere.
  Can this be a cause?
  -I’m useing a Sony DCR-HC40E PAL camera in Premiere Pro 1.5
  On the DV Device control Options I couldn’t find a suitable SONY model in the drop down box so I checked standard.
  How can I fix the problem up?
