  codec for best output for a PC playable movie

  Howdy!

  I’m trying to export a movie to be played on a laptop. The laptop is plugged into a video splitter that will serves 8 monitors in a tradeshow display.

  I’ve been dickering around with various codecs but when I try and play the video on ,my laptop, the sound is ok but thew video is either stuttering or pixellated to death.

  Can someone recommend a decent codec to use that will help me get a decent viewable movie? I know it’s not a display hardware issue with the laptop, because I can play other movies and they all look fine.

  Windows Media Video 9 is one of the best/efficient. Try 1.5 mbps at full resolution and frame rate.
