    That is the message I get when attempting to export my timeline to tape (canon zr-40, zr-90, XL-1).

    It’s all original footage and audio, except for the universal leader.

    What did I do? It’s always worked before!

    Hmm…Are your cameras connected to something else other than the computer? Also, are the cameras in VCR mode?

    They are in VCR mode, and they are not connected to anything else.

    I’ve suffered from this problem. All was my own source material, yet Premiere refused to allow copies to be exported using FireWire as in your case.

    It’s a while ago that this last affected my system, but I seem to remember that re-rendering cured the problem after deleting all related previews.
