  • Slighty distorted audio when importing into Premiere?

    Hi there

Basically Ive saved some audio as a wav file in After Effects and imported it into Premiere, I saved it as a 44.1khz 16bit stereo file but for some reason in premiere there is slight distortion when it gets louder in places…any ideas why and whether this is only in the preview or will actually render like this?

    Thanks

    Dan

Keep the audio to no higher than zero (use the master volume meters in the audio mixer). Average of about -6dB should do the trick.

Your project may be configured to Audio at 48Khz. convert the sound and it should be ok.
