    Hi,

I have a Premiere Pro 1.5.1 system without any hardware accelleration. Can I load an AVI which has been encoded on another PPro system using a blackmagic card? The codec will be the uncompressed blackmagic codec.

Why would I want to do a thing like that? Well, I need to get some 16mm rushes scanned onto disk. BonoLabs do a great deal whereby they’ll scan your 16mm rushes onto disk as “uncompressed blackmagic AVIs”. Will I be able to open these files on my Premiere Pro 1.5.1 system?

    Thanks a lot,
    Jack
