audio issue – partially drops out from final renders when exporting to tape or DVD.
When I mix the audiotrack for a premiere project down to a single wav file, it sounds correct in the premiere environment. Then I export it to DV tape on a Canon GL2, or to a DVD using Ulead DVD Workshop. When I play back the finished clip on the camera, through a television, the sound fades in and out, or generally behaves unpredictably: Sometimes a voiceover is gone, sometimes it goes quiet. Since the source wav file is intact, the problem seems to be hidden somewhere in the settings of the software. If an audio file would break down, shouldn’t it all go? How could a voiceover suddenly dissapear with the rest of the track intact? Where should I begin to look?
Thanks,
Peter
