    hey there bovine crew

i have a project of 23:01:00 duration that i am trying to export to a single avi so that i can convert it to an mpeg2 for dvd authoring. An error cancels the export at about 20 mins saying that there is insufficent hard drive space [big fat lie]. checked the settings for a “maximum export limit” or sumthin but cant find anything that seems legit. think thee that it is a system problem or a program configuration that gets my goat?

I guess I have to start by asking the obvious. The drive you’re exporting to isn’t formatted as FA32 is it? If it is then you need to reformat it as NTFS.

I assume there is some reason why you are not doing the MPEG conversion straight from the timeline without an intermediate AVI file.

it is true. i was subscribed to fat32 as i knew not about these cluster bombs. i have since switched to NTFS..
