  Evil font can kill AE7 on launch

  Just in case someone has problems with AE7 crashing on launch:

  Check for bad fonts. I had one and it was keeping AE7 trial from launching (even as the trial countdown continued). The font causing my problem was unusual – a tibetan font called u-chan.

  Is there any good way to temporarily disable fonts on windows?

  pull them out of the “fonts” folder in the windows directory into a folder any where else

  you can disable fonts with adobe type manager.
