  Sync audio with Final Cut Pro 7

  I’m making a documentary project, recorded with a Canon 5D, but with audio recording in a separate pro audio unit, but without any kind of timecode or video/audio synchronization between files.

  Some friends recommended me to use Plural Eyes for this sync.
  Is a confiable system? How it works? Need some kind of timecode or other code?
  I’m working in Apple Final Cut 7.
