How was this achieved? any idea?, some simple 2D replicated shots, I understand.
But the more complex building repetitions, were made in 3D?
Any thoughts?

Some of it does look like 3d. but some are definitely just carefully crafted pieces. Im guessing he tracked and replace several parts of the videos…and he either replaced it with some impressive 3d work or even more impressive he used other real life roads…im not sure..He probably did cut out the buidlings and stacked them neatly.
And on some of the infinite shots it seems like they used shot extension techniques to repeat it forever…or its 3d..i cant tell…But have you ever used the flo motion effect?? Im sure with some clever manipulation you could do it with just this one effect
