  Cinema 4D Text Stroke Extrude

  The Cinema 4D renderer will not recognize the Text Stroke, if I want to extrude it as well. (Think “Toy Story” text)
  Has anyone found a technique to make this happen.
  Currently I need to Create Shape from Text. Then I can extrude the stroke on the shape.
  I then parent the shape to the text.
  This works, However, if I edit the original text.. I need to go through the whole procedure again in
  setting up the Shape from text outline.
  Would it be possible to apply an expression to the Shape layer to update?

  A lot of work otherwise.
